Diaphanous

This was my first entry for Sabriel Week on Tumblr. Had to edit the panels together, which is why I'm uploading it now.

There's a word theme going for each day. This one was Diaphanous, which means light, delicate, and translucent.

I also wrote a fic for this one.

Sam rolled his eyes at the note, but figured that was the end of it. A silly April Fools thing.

But over the next week and a half, Gabriel used every tactic he could think of to get Sam in lingerie, save for zapping it on his body himself.

This included replacing every article of Sam’s clothes with different styles and colors of revealing underwear, staging dramatic public scenes to embarrass Sam into submission, and withholding sex. Of course, Sam was a lot more stubborn than that, and Gabe was the one who ended up suffering. He eventually resorted to pleading, but that got him nowhere.

Sam proved to be too strong for him, and he eventually gave up.

That night, Gabriel climbed into bed with Sam, who had a cheeky grin plastered on his face.

“You finished?” he asked the angel.

“For now. I’ll succeed, someday.”

“Sure you will,” Sam chuckled. “Now come here.” He grabbed Gabriel’s face, planting a kiss on his pouting lips.

Though he didn’t get his wish, Gabe was glad to get back into the normal rhythm with Sam. Besides, he had plenty of opportunities to try again.

And next time, he would succeed.
