I wish I could love Korea, I really do.

See, being surrounded by 300+ white people every day (though everyone seems to forget I am half white) is rather depressing. Kinda exemplifies how different I am.

Anyways, I was so excited to find out APH had a character for Korea. I was like, "This makes me feel really good!" It's great to have a character who you can identify with. I was even thinking of dropping Russia and cosplaying as Korea, theeeeennnn...

I read his strips. Now, I know each of the character have steryotypes associated with them. I mean, America doesn't bug me as much as Korea. This sounds weird, but I applaud those thousands of S. Koreans who petitioned against the anime being aried. Sure, I'm glad they did run it later (without Korea), but I would have been all D: if they kept in Korea.

I suppose it's because Japanese people are extremely prejudiced against Koreans. My mom telling me of her culture often and things like the Japanese occupation and whatnot give me this dislike. Maybe I'm biased.

So yeah. I'm depressed. This rant has made me feel a teeny bit better.
